A long stretch of white sand beach and the crystal clear water provide for pleasurable sunbathing, swimming, or snorkeling experience. Lao Lao Bay was once an expansive Ancient Chamorro village site called Cao. It was where the first Spanish ships moored and where the first encounter between the indigenous Ancient Chamorro and the Spaniards took place. Lao Lao Bay is also where the Japanese military constructed defense structures. They had anticipated that American forces would land along the bay's stretch of beach upon Saipan's invasion. Because of its prehistoric and historic elements, Lao Lao Bay is considered a highly sensitive site. Visitors are encouraged to be mindful and respectful of prehistoric and historic features encountered during their visit to this area.

Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine: It is said that a German priest had received a divine revelation finding this place under the Spanish rule. Later Christians wishing for the end of war installed the statue of Mother Mary in this place. Near the altar there is Saipan's only fountain of fresh water that is called 'Mother Mary's holy water.' It is said that this holy water can cure wounds. During the World War II, this is the only place that was spared from the bombing. Today, this site is known as Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine.

Susupe: Susupe is the center of administration where the headquarters of the federal government of the CNMI is located. Hotels, restaurants, post offices, churches, police stations, and fire stations are gathered in the center of Susupe. San Jose is north of Susupe and villages like Chalan Kanoa and San Antonio are in the south.

Mt. Camel Cathedral: Mount Camel Cathedral was built under the Spanish rule and it has been a mental pillar of the islanders.
