Visas are not required for U.S., FSM and Palau citizens. Visitor permits are issued upon arrival. Visas are not required for any visitors staying for less than 30 days. Extensions for an additional 60 days can be obtained from the Immigrations Office, $30 per 30-day extension. All visitors must possess an onward air or sea ticket.
Travelers over 18 years of age can bring in 2 cartons of cigarettes, 2 liters of liquor and 8 ounces of chewing tobacco duty free. Customs declaration forms are required upon arrival. Importing firearms, ammunition and drugs is strictly prohibited. Certification from Quarantine Division for live animals, plants and fruits required. Coral and turtle shell are prohibited exports. Cholera immunizations are required from those arriving from infected areas.
